2nd Donation

We received another donation a few days ago. So far we're up to $6.00. Obviously, not much motivation, but don't forget to tell your Blackberry toting friends to donate. If we can get this rolling, then maybe we can get the attention of Verizon, and make them open up the gps. If not, with the right amount of money, we can find someone else who can do it for us.

Rules

Since "Make it Work" is a little vague, I'd like to clarify what it takes to win the prize. In order to win the money you must come up with a way to make the GPS work on Verizon's Blackberries. However it's done, it must be able to be done by a tech savy consumer, using a home computer. It can't require any special equipment. Also, it must be reliable, and not adversely affect the Blackberry.

I'll welcome any suggestions to the rules. Please post if you have any other ideas on how to make this more successful.

Hi Everybody. I figured I better make this a little more legit, so I created a site to track the progress of the fundraising. As you can see we already have one donation. So, as of now, if you get the GPS to work on a Verizon Blackberry, you will win a whopping $5.00. Not really what I had in mind, but it's a start. So, please feel free to donate anything. It all helps. If a thousand people donate just $1, then we'll have a $1000.00 prize.
